Tusker has committed KES 14 million to the 2026 Safari Sevens, with music stars Nameless, Mejja, Breeder LW and Ssaru lined up to entertain fans during the three-day rugby tournament at Nyayo National Stadium.
The 28th edition of the Safari Sevens will run from October 9 to 11, bringing together teams from Kenya and beyond for the annual rugby competition.
The sponsorship will support both the rugby tournament and an entertainment programme designed to enhance the experience for fans attending the event.
Mejja and Breeder LW will headline Saturday’s entertainment, supported by DJs Most Wanted, Joe Mfalme, Incredible and Protégé. Claudia Naisabwa and BM Shaxxy will serve as MCs.
Nameless and Ssaru will headline Sunday’s programme, with DJs Tophaz, Kriss Darlin and Deweez also performing. Shema, Hype Ballo and MC BV Accurate will host the closing-day activities.
Friday’s entertainment will feature DJs Confy and Grill as the tournament gets underway.
“Safari Sevens is an important fixture on Kenya’s rugby calendar, and our sponsorship is about making the experience bigger and better for the fans who come out to support the sport,” said Keza Mpyisi, Tusker Sports Brand Manager.
“Through the Tusker Na Rugby platform, we are bringing together top rugby action and a strong entertainment line-up to give fans more reasons to be part of the weekend.”
Tusker’s sponsorship builds on its wider involvement in rugby, including support for the National Sevens Circuit and the HSBC SVNS 2 event in Nairobi.
