Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has stepped up his education transformation agenda after handing over a brand-new school bus to Masinde Muliro Memorial Senior School in Tuwan Ward, Kitale saying the initiative marks the next phase of investments aimed at improving learning outcomes across the constituency.
The legislator said the school bus will ease transport challenges for students and enable the institution to participate more effectively in academic, sports and co-curricular activities.
"My education transformation agenda for Saboti has been clear and deliberate. I have invested in classrooms in every school across Saboti, streamlined and made the bursary programme transparent and fair. This is now my next developmental phase," Amisi said.
He added that sustainable development can only be achieved through proper planning and consistent investment in education.
"You can never achieve meaningful and sustainable development for your people without proper planning, clear priorities and deliberate investment. Every successful community is built on a vision that is backed by action, consistency and accountability. That is the approach we have adopted in Saboti, and we will continue implementing projects that directly improve the lives and future of our people," he said.
The school's management welcomed the donation, describing it as a significant milestone that will benefit learners and the institution for years to come.
"We sincerely thank our area Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi for donating a brand-new school bus to Masinde Muliro Senior School. This generous support is a great milestone for our institution and will greatly improve transport for our learners during academic, sports and co-curricular activities. We appreciate your continued commitment to transforming education in Saboti and investing in the future of our children," the school management said.
The new bus is expected to improve the school's transport capacity, enabling students to travel safely and participate in educational, sports and other co-curricular activities while supporting the institution's growth.
