Their arraignment brings to seven those arrested over the heinous murder.

A police officer Elijah Kimoi, who allegedly shot dead Dr Victoria Mutiso, and two other suspects Daniel Mwangi Njoroge and Kevin Ngugi Kinuthia, were on Monday arraigned at Milimani over the heinous murder of the professional on July 29, 2026.

Their arraignment brings to seven those arrested over the heinous murder of Dr Mutiso.

Those behind bars are the ex-co-wife Rose Mbithe Mulwa, her two children Chris and  Angella plus Nelson Masiga.

Police are seeking to have them detained for 30 days.

Magistrate Paul Mutai heard the firearm used to kill Dr Mutiso had been issued to a police officer who is at large.

DCI officers and a multi-agency team of officers are in hot pursuit.

Investigators require 30 days to conclude investigstions.

Mr Mutai ordered they be detained for 30 days.
